Local capital for the Valley’s next generation of companies.
A member-managed investment fund led by business leaders from Youngstown and the greater Mahoning Valley.
About Youngstown Next Generation Fund
The Youngstown Next Generation Fund (NXG) invests in private companies, early-stage or established, in Youngstown and the greater Mahoning Valley, using the structure that fits the opportunity. The Fund was formed with the Appalachian Investors Alliance (AIA) as its technical advisor.
The Fund is led, designed, and funded by local investors, who identify, evaluate, and place its investments. Members bring more than capital: operating experience, mentorship, and supply-chain relationships that give a company a real advantage.
NXG is returns focused. Every investment must have an identified path to a fair return, supported by the company’s economics. The Fund also places a priority on regional wealth creation and on attracting growing companies to the Valley.
